Backend developer | Python | Flask | Django

Currently a Python-Django developer at Code Institute with experience working across the full stack on both the front and back end of applications. I am also familar with utilising postgres and mysql databases alongside Python through psycopg.

Having first started out as a healthcare operations administrator, I was already comfortable with IT before making the leap to software development. That is when I decided I wanted to achieve more, and so began my journey with Code Institute.

Making that decision has been both the best and most challenging decision I had ever made, but well worth it. The skills and knowledge that I picked up along the way at CI were invaluable, and the people that I met incredibly helpful.

I decided to delve into Python, as it is one of, if not the most popular language when it comes to server side and backend development.

Eventually, I moved onto trying out Django, which had it's fair share of challenges but something which I could clearly see would be crucial for my future development career.
